Product development - Tailor Box

The Tailor Box sewing kit features ready-cut fabric pieces and sewing instructions. It enables total sewing beginners to sew themselves a T-Shirt. Just imagine IKEA but for sewing clothes.

This product went through many iterations based on customer feedback until it reached its final form. The pre-cut fabric pieces include notches for easy assembly, the sewing instructions include QR-codes, which link to instructional videos, the packaging is lightweight and waterproof.

 

I could reduce the production costs by 80%, by organising an international supply chain. The product is being sold on https://www.tailor-box.ch and in some DIY and fabric supply stores in Switzerland.
